Jo, I'm not sure about the Kaopectate. Here is what I was told on a previous post (1-08-99) when my glider was constipated. At that time I was giving him apple babyfood and pear babyfood. Someone told me that when a child has diarhhea you can give them apple babyfood or pear baby food to stop it. They thought that was what was stopping my glider up.You might try giving him some of that before trying the Kaopectate. Hope it helps him.
