: i read in my sugar glider reference book that small scale breeders or people who were not selling gliders to pet stores did not need to be licensed, but now ive learned that anyone who sells babies even if its only 1 or 2 has to have a license. now i have 2 glider babies and dont know what to do with them if its illegal to sell them. i dont have the time to handle four gliders! if anyone knows about the laws or has any suggestion please let me know!!!!!!

Yes, you need to be licensed to breed and sell. However
sell the babies when they are weaned and then get your
male neutered. They overlook a one time thing. It's
when you keep breeding and selling unlicensed when you
know the law that the USDA will take notice.
