you really shouldn't use gloves it will hide your scent and I don't know about other gliders but mine loves to chew on plastic and rubber. I Sure wouldn't want to give mine anything that looks like a hand. When does she bite? They really don't like to BE HELD it is better if you let her hold onto you and pet her gently. It is okay to let her go but be sure she has a safe feeling about you first. Sleep with some swatches 3 inches by 3 inches and place them in her pouch also what I have found that works real well is wearing a pocket tee each day and hanging it in her cage. Change it each day so it has a fresh scent on it. it will serve a couple of purposes, 1.) it is your scent and 2.) it will get them used to the pocket. eventually take out her pouch (while she is sleeping and place it in between two shirts bottom one a fresh pocket tee after a few days remove the pouch (in her cage) and let her sleep in the pocket tee. at that time start putting her in the pocket of the bottom shirt still covered with the other. she will associate the scents with a safe zone. Let her run around the room at this point she will return to her (scent ground) being your shirt. If you feel unsure try the bathroom. MAKE SURE toilet lid is down and all holes, cracks, and drains are sealed. Let her run and jump always when you use your hand near her be sure it is always fingers down don't let her see your palm side. This is a general rule because palm side she will think you are trying to hold her or grab her. let her walk onto your hand if she want to leave again.. let her.. repaet this process. also they would rather you stand up and move around. NOT fast and jerky but at a regular pace.. If you look at her as being an abused and neglected glider and you needing to build her trust. Not that she needs to build yours. It will make a difference. As weird as this sounds it really does work. Key points to remember 1.)patience 2.) Trust her. let her learn to trust you 3.) no gloves 4.) fingers down 5.) let her hold, you don't hold her 6.)Love her no matter what 7.) patience
