The more time you spend with you glider the better off you will be. I fed mine the yummy fruits to both of them, by hand, before I actually put their food dish in the cage. She may bite, but take the bites whatever you do don't let her think she's gotcha, or they will continue to bite. Try putting a pocket-t-shirt in the cage with your scent on it. Where it a few days, get it good and smelly. When they sleep in it, during the day you can remove it with them in it and put it on. Also a pouch seems to work earsier than the nest box because they don't seem as attached to it. Basicaly, the more time you spend with your SG and she gets used to you and your smell, she will begin to build trust. I does take time, but keep at it. Hope this helps... JO : Julie- : It may take longer than a month to get your glider to bond to you. My first glider wasn't tame, but she's been with me from November, and has come around nicely. Keep playing with him/her, bribing it with treats, etc. Also, get a zippered bonding pouch, and carry your glider in it for short periods to begin with, stroking it through the cloth and talking to it . Once it becomes familiar with your scent and realizes you want to be it's friend, and pose no threat ( unless your friend accidentally or intentionally mistreated it) it should come around in it's own good time. Each glider is an individual ! Good luck with your furry baby, and if you would like more good bonding tips, surf through GliderNet, which has some wonderful links that provide a lot of info on bonding and the like . : Above all, persistence is the key! Good luck with your furry baby :) ! : - Flyte
