Last night I got to thinking, dangerous usually, but
this time I came up with a glider hammock that you
can make at home out of an old pocketed shirt that
you don't mind tearing up. It hangs on the top of the
cage like a hammock that they can also crawl into.
I did have an old washrag cut and tied up with paper
clips but I wanted an improvement on the design.
I took a red corderoy shirt with metal buttons and cut
the pocket off of the front, it has a fold over flap
that buttons too, but I won't button it up.
I then cut off all the strings inside and out so their
would be no chokage on strings.
Then I cut up the side of the now ruined shirt in the
front where all the buttons are, I effectivly got a
strip that I could shape into straps and I did'nt have to
actually sew any buttons on. I shaped four of them,
made new button holes, and sewed them on so there were
four straps. One on each corner about 4 inches long that
would fold over a bar and button to attach to the top of
the cage.
Moxxie absolutely loves it....alot more than the old
washrag.

If you have any questions let me know, I'll try to
explain better.

P.S. I'm sure you could do even a better job if you
know how to sew, I don't really, so this works very well
for non-sewers.
