First off, Alicia- I applaud your vet and you for rescuing the little guy :) !

you can let them out to play together. But unless your other male is neutered, I wouldn't recommend putting them in the same cage altogether, because Lucky and your male might fight for breeding rights, which could get quite nasty.
As for the loose stools, make sure he doesn't get dehydrated by giving him juicy fruits and fruit-flavored pedialyte, and ask your vet whether the stools could be a side effect . Or , in a possibility, they may be from the stress, even though he may not seem stressed at this time . Just keep a close eye on him, and if they're still around a day from now, get him to the vet.
