If you use corn cob, be sure the animals have no access to it. If they eat it, it may cause problems. Also, corn cob grows molds pretty easily. I use kiln dried pine for mine. For those who don't trust pine, I have heard that aspen works well. There is also another litter made of recycled paper products, I think it is called eco-bedding.
