It sounds like your glider is approaching puberty, so a lot of weird things are going to start happening, like the sleep patterns changing. It's not absolutely neccessary to take your glider out with you for bonding. Just carry him around the house in a zippered bonding pouch while you do normal household things, and it shouldn't effect your bonding any .
