Try putting some gliderade or some fruit juice on the water bottle spout. This may encourage him to lick at it. Usually gliders will learn to drink from the bottle by watching mom and dad. Gliders should be 5-6 weeks OOP minimum when going to a new home and should already be eating and drinking on their own.
