If it can give me chest pains and sever cramps , I can only imagine what it can do to a little glider. Nuts being fed scarcely is because .. gliders don't digest fats well at all and have a tendancy to retain it. Which is said to cause fatty deposits in the eye, and causing blindness, not to mention the problems that is associated with obesity..and nuts are high in fat. As for the vitamin suppliments, depending on the diet you feed your glider.. as you have noticed , just about everyone has their own diet..not many people feed their glider the exact same thing as someone else. TJ had done a research though and contacted some Australian Zoos and a local zoo , to see what they fed their gliders in captivity. The results of that research is here somewhere, it is also on my diets page, the url for my site is below. I thank everyone who assited on this page as well as all the others on my website..They have done a wonderful job.. All the commercial feeds are listed, as well as the ingredients, for each. There is a link to the USDA nutrients databasee as well..
