Glider's diet should consist of 75% fruits and vegs and 25% protiens. Baby food meats have some protiens but real chicken, beef, turkey, canned dog foods, etc have much more. YOu could try a four day rotational diet. I have just survived hind leg paralysis with one of my gliders, lackk of protien was the main problem. with in a week of getting the essential protien in his diet he has been returned to his cage with his mate and is almost back to normal. Depending on the exact diet which you are feeding your glider and how much would depend on if suppliments are needed. The four day diet does not need supplimnets because you are asured of there intake of calcium because they are contained in fruits and vegs. Over supplimentation can be just as harmful. Please email me and maybe we can put our heads together and see what you need.
JO : Iknow gliders need calcium supplements but do they need any other? : all I feed him is fruit veg some baby food and yougurt : any ideas?
