: I need advice from people that currently use Gliderade and know the facts about it.

: I mixed up some gliderade for my sg last night thinking that it wouldn't get eaten, but thought I'd give it a try anyway.
: I put in about a fourth of a cup, it was gone this morning!!!!

: How much should sugar gliders have of this?
: How often?
: When you mix it up and put it in the fridge, how long can you keep it before having to discard it if not eaten?

: Rep cal-3??
: How much of this should I use?
: How often?
: What is the best thing to put it on, so that they will eat it?
: Do they like the taste of it?

: Now, do you need to use both gliderade and repcal-3?

: Thanks!!
: Can they get too much of this? Harmful?

I mix 1/2 tsp. gliderade per glider in about 2 tbsp. water or juice. They used to get this every other day or so, but now that the female has two in the pouch, she gets this everyday. As for Rep Cal I only give them a small pinch twice a week in a small amount of honey or mixed with baby cereal and juice.
You do need to be careful about not giving too much of a supplement that has vitamin A or other fat soluble vitamins. Gliderade has vitamin A acetate as an ingredient, so don't give large amounts, it can cause vitamin A toxicity. Also, too much calcium could cause bone deposits to form although I have never heard of this problem with sugar gliders. I use plain Rep Cal which just has calcium and vitamin D3 in it.
