: Mom died last night and left two young nursing babies in nest with dad. I think they are about 70-80 days old. The second baby has just come out of the pouch.

: Can you give us information/recommendations on how to care for the little ones without a sugar glider mom? We live in Puyallup, WA near Tacoma and want to contact anyone local who has a female that might be able to adopt the babies (will a mother adopt babies?). Please reply to ronj@globemachine.com.

: Thank you very much for your help.

Ron,
Theres a breeder on Mercer Island that has a web page and email address.
It's called pawprints and thier email is pawprint@nwlink.com. I think the
web address is www.nwlink.com/~pawprint, but don't quote me on it.
They're a small time breeder of exotics, including gliders.
I've not talked to them before, but plan to buy a glider from them, because
I was really impressed by thier web page. So, I hope that you
can find some help and that your babies are okay. Tara
