basically they shouldn't have a wheel that has spaces in the wheel that they can get their tails or feet caught in.....personally i use a hampsterball with a stand.....you can pick them up at a pet store for around $15.....to let you know...there are also balls with out stands...make sure you get the one with the stand if you go this route....they love it, mine use it almost on a daily basis.....heck i've even caught them sleeping in it...lol....hope this helps some...
