well there could be several reasons for this that i can think of....could be lack of nutrients..mother nature has a tendency of making sure the offspring will survive.....or it could be just a genitic thing...sorta like people having twins.....normal for a glider is 1-2 joeys, but if geneticly somewhere in her line there is only a 1 joey gene..that one might be dominate in yours....by far i am not an expert,, but that is some of what i have learned in my learning of animals.
