I wouldn't recommend it - as with certain birds and reptiles, you shouldn't house animals together that aren't from the same continents. One may be a carrier of certain parasites that will kill the other and vice versa. Not to mention the marsupial vs. rodent thing - I would imagine that the flying squirrel wouldn't last too long. JMHO
