Keep switching the bedding.... maybe try a pouch or another cloth mateial.
Before you put the 'new' female into the other cage... try washing the whole cage (including the bars) very thoroughly to eliminate the scents from ALL of the gliders.
It may help to wash all of the cage accessories and put them back in different places within the cage too.
(it kinda confuses the existing colony)
