It is very normal for your glider to sleep during the day and It may take naps throughout the night. Is the sg eatting and are the ears down? Down ears usually show a sign of depression. Also have you every brought a new puppy into your house? They usually sleep alot at first getting used to their new environment.

: I have recently adopted a year old Sugar Glider from a lady who no longer wanted him. I have had him for 5 days now and it is starting to concern me that all he does is sleep all of the day and most of the night. I am thinking he may be depressed . Is there any way of knowing whatI can do to help him so he will be happy and more active??

: I'm am currently seeking a friend for him , hoping this may help him . He did have a mate before I adopted him. Could this be part of the problem?? PLEASE HELP with info you may have.
