The lady that I got her from hand fed and raised her so she is very very sweet. The breeder told me to bottle feed her baby formula and feed her baby food and yogurts until June. It was not until I started reading this board that I realized she may have misinformed me, and I should be giving her "real" food and not just baby food. : How long have you had your glider and what were you feeding her before? I would find away to get her the needed protiens, Bourban has some great solutions but you can also feed her, ground beef, fish, tuna fish, scrambled or hard boiled eggs. Live bugs have protien in them too, but try to keep the fat level down. Eventually you will find something that she will like..keep trying. Corn is ok to feed your glider but I remember reading somewhere that it does have any real nutritional value. If they fill up on it and just their favorite foods they will not get all of the required balance that they need. : : JO
: : Also, what protein is good protein for a glider. Mine just wants fruits and veggies and yogurt. She also loves corn, is that okay? : : This whole feeding thing is the scariest part of owning a glider. She is happy and healthy so far, I want to make sure she stays that way. : : This board is great, thank you to all of you who are so knowledgeable and willing to share with the rest of us.
