It's probably okay - just put a tiny, tiny bit and rub it in really well so she can't ingest it. I used Vaseline once and mine hasn't peeled since.

: : also....you could try a little vaseline or bag balm. Bag balm is not harmful if it is injested, I found it at the pharmacy, It comes in a green tin and has been around forever..
