I would not use any type of creams on the ears because it could be ingested during cleaning. In the winter time (I live in Chicago and it getsw pretty cold here) we add a small piece of avacado to the diet about 2 times a week. This will add a little extra oil and fat to the diet and it usually clears up the dryness. Do not use avacado on a regular basis tho as it is very high in fat.
