Tanya,
He just has to be there somewhere...he has to! I think it's a good idea to get the baby out of the house and see if he comes back. Keep leaving food out for him. We are heartsick for you, too...but maybe he'll still come back.

: I did not leave any doors or windows open. I didn't even leave the house that night.

: I still worry, even if he is in the trees outside, because he probably can't fend for himself out there. And what happens when it gets cold?

: If he somehow got into the wall or behind a cabinet, hopefully he can find silverfish or roachs (apartment life) to eat to keep him alive until he figures out how to get back.

: I am just heartsick.

: thanks again,

: : I know you are probably trying not to get your hopes up, but you might try one last thing. Is there anyone you know who might house your new baby for a day or two? Maybe someone you can still go visit and see her, but keep her smell away for a day or two to see if he comes out? I know this is no consolation, but my baby always crawls around on my body. Finally last night he got brave and ran down my leg and under the computer desk. Well it was 5 minutes or so before I could even find him, let alone get to him, and the whole time I was thinking "oh, no... not the Bicho syndrome!" But then he came back and came running up to me. I wonder if you are right and that he got somewhere that he can't willingly get out of. Did you have any open windows the night he disappeared? At least it may be some consolation that he might be outside running around in the trees. I know I sound like a psychotherapist here, so I'll just shut up now, I just hope you find him. I keep thinking about him and I don't care where he is, as long as he's safe. I just hope that's the case.

: : Good luck, once again.
