I was told that it was really bad to give gliders any type of dairy product. This is not because they are lactose intolerate, they are not. It is because they lack the enzyme to break down glactinase(sp?) which is food in dairy foods. Good luck!

: I was just as surprised to find out that you could give them cheese, so many people have spoken about them being lactose intolerant, but why give them yogurt then. You can also feed them cottage cheese and cream cheese with fruit. In small amounts is probably best, maybe once or twice a week..

: : : Hey I just learned something new!
: : : My baby loves cheese! is that ok for him to have once in a while??
: : : and I was taking off my socks last night and Mars climbed in I put it in his cage and he has played with it ever since! He loves it!

: : Be careful with socks so there claws don't get caught in them it could hurt them if they get stuck and pull to hard they have a fragile little body.

: : Cheese can be very fatting I woudn' t give it to them very much. Watch the fat intake!!!
