java will purr sometimes, it is usually when mamma and pappa are both in the room, which makes us feel good! :)

if you want him to get up earlier, get a "noisy woman" Java wakes up when my mom get home now (around 6 or 7) because she makes so much noise. our little joke is to call her the "noisy woman" he will take a brief nap around 9 until 10 or so, then he's up until 6! good thing i am too! i know she frightens him, she doesn't mean too. truth be told, she is more frightened of him than he will ever be of her. in a way that is good. if i know my mother, she will try to give him things that aren't good for him (like mcdonald's) :) glider love
