personally i wouldn't go with a wooden nest box....i started out with one..and found that they are REALLY hard to get clean...i go the the plastic now...all i use is a rubbermaid toolbox...it's cheap, and with a hole for the door, and a few ventalation holes....it works great. good luck with your next joeys...and i'd agree and leave dad in...it might take some preassure off mom of raising the little ones.
