: You sure its the rotational diet you are reffering to and not the "variety" diet??
: A "smorgasborg of foods" to choose from is the variety diet, the rotational diet feeds only fruits or veggies for three nights and all protein on the fourth night. It "forces" the glider to eat certain types of food, that is the whole purpose of the rotation.
: I am not sure this "starve and binge" cycle is such a good thing. Wouldn't this cause some stress? And I am not convinced teaming it up with Brisky's is a good idea either.

Well, lets call it 'my' rotational diet... I offer the rotation foods plus just a little of the other required foods.
Many people use Briskys as a staple food which offers a 100% balanced diet (So in essence, they are still getting everything else, right?)
I do not use the commercial foods at all, but balance the diet I offer with other foods.

But as we have all seemed to agree, you must do what you feel is right for your glider and what you feel is adequate. No diet (that I have seen) here is identical to another. We all make our own little adjustments and develop our own opinions. Variety or Rotation will both meet the aknowledged requirements, as will briskys given if alone.
I have been using 'my' diet for some time now and have not noticed any signs of stress in my gliders. To them (and myself) it has become a routine...
