: I hope this isn't a stupid question. We buy freeze dried to feed as treats to our turtles. Can these be given to gliders? Also, can meal worms be purchased in any pet store?

I do not recommend feeding freeze-dried crickets to your glider. They loose some of their nutritional value, not to forget all of their water content. Feeding live crickets also stimulates a 'go & get um!' attitude which (I feel) helps to recreate a lil'bit of their natural habitat...

Mealworms are a staple of amphibian and reptile diets... any petstore who carries cold-blooded critters ~should~ have them in stock... If not, ask them if they can order them for you. Most of their livestock suppliers carry them on a reular basis...
If not, you can always try a bait shop as they are also a tasty temptation for fish.
