I went down to the local hardware store and bought a roll of rabbit fence. It's very thin and doesn't hold up well unless you build your cage with a frame. But it is coated and easy to cut and work with, not to mention the whole thing cost me about $30. I now have plans to enlarge my original design, due to a new arrival.

The frame is easily made from any 1x2 or 2x2 lumber thats safe for Gliders. Just to save you the trial and error, I am redesigning the cage more to add accessability then size. I plan to make the new cage easy to take appart for cleaning "in the shower". Also I plan on a hinging the entire front panel, for those times when the door just isn't enough.

Look for rabbit fence at hardware and feed stores,
