I tried to give Syd, my SG, a live mouse. I work in a labaratory, and didn't even think about getting one from here. Anyways, he just followed it around for a while, and started to play with it. He would kinda claw at it, but the mouse would squeak, and Syd would back off. I just left it in there overnight, which I probably shouldn't have done, but nothing happened anyways. I thought maybe he had never been given anything live, and if I gave it to him dead it would be different. Since I work in a lab, I took it to work, made short order of the mouse, and cut it open a little to make sure it's insides were intact, no diseases, or nothing. I saw nothing wrong, so I took it back home, and gave it to Syd. He froze in the cage. Didn't move until about a half hour after I had taken it out. Is something wrong with him, because he won't eat. I think I'm gonna get some crickets, but I don't want the same thing to happen. Can anyone help? I thought it would be cool to see his reaction to a live animal he could get, but it really was terrible, cause he didn't do anything.......Any comments welcome.;)
