It depends on a few things: Is it a baby glider? And how far do you have to go with your glider to get home? Every glider that I picked up to bring home were babies, and I either brought a pocket pouch to put them in, or I wore an old shirt with a pocket on it, and put the baby in there. And each one seemed very content being close to my heart. So why not start the bonding process right away when you pick him/her up? with my little girl, I only had to go a few miles to get home with her - but when I did get home, I just left her in my pocket the rest of the day. Of course I checked on her often, and offered her food and water serveral times. And from then on, I did the same thing every day. However, at night time she did have to stay in her cage! And she did cry alot that first night. But within 2 days, every time I went to the cage to get her out, she came right to me. Sorry, I guess I rambled on a bit, but I do believe the bonding process should begin as soon as you get her/him beginning in the car on the way home.
