Sounds like you have a rambunctious baby on your hands, and though I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, you may as well just think of her as a hyperactive child. When we buy, I don't think any of us for the first time have any idea of what's in store, or this "child" we have just agreed to adopt and care for, but as for my Foster, he is no more trainable than my cat. The fact is, they train US.
Wish it could be different, but it doesn't seem to be!
I also put Foster in my pocket and cover the hole, and after he realizes he can't get out he just makes the most of it and goes to sleep. So they are trickable (at least until they figure out the game). Good luck!
