**USDA REQUIRES all breeders to keep an account of gliders OOP dates. I would ask the breeder for that date.
If they cannot provide it, well... (no need to read any more!)

As with all animals though, you must keep in mind that no 2 are the same... the individuals' needs must be met accordingly.
Start with the OOP date, then progress to the gliders diet.
What it is eating on its own, what it is not yet eating, what it should be eating for you to properly care for it... weigh the facts carefully!
(and please remember that this lil'one is COMPLETELY dependant on you to make the right choice. and to FAITHFULLY follow through with it should you decide to take him/her home.)

~personal opinion~
I would strongly suggest that you wait for a completely weaned sg. One who has been eating on its own, has a sense of curiosoty and is not scared to death to venture out on its own. Young gliders are a handful alone... but a lil'one who is not ready to be on its own (and is pulled anyway) is a tremendous responsability for anyone!
