: : what is zoo fare and brimsky's and where do you get it?
: : i live in austin, tx.
: : and gut packed crickets? what is that?

: I know I'm not Clara, but just so you know: the farther you look on her page, the more links you'll find. I think she has both links, just look under Sugar gliders, and then under feeding sugar gliders.
: I bought ZooFare because I found it on her page, and I can't get my glider to eat it. There has never been food that I have offered him that he shunned so badly.
: I am about to write to them and ask them if they have any suggestions because I've tried soaking it in grape juice (he loves grapes), mixing it with foods he really likes, and plenty of other things but he's awfully stubborn. He just picks up the pieces of the zoofare and throws them, then proceeds with eating his other food. I even tried to give him only that when he was really really hungry, to no avail. Nevertheless, you may have better luck with it than I have. You can buy my fresh 20oz pack if you like, I've only used about 4 little pieces of it. The link for PawPrint's online catalogue is at the bottom if you want to buy it from them. Good luck.

I'm sorry you've had so much trouble, don't give up though. Sometimes gliders like one food one day and won't eat it the next. I would continue to give them about 3 tsp. fresh Zoofare everyday several hours before you give them their other food. They might eat it, but sometimes it is hard to tell. If you notice little crumbs at the bottom of the dish, they have probably been eating it. Let me know how it goes.
