My Glider did bite on it occasionally when i first got him, but once he began to trust me he no longer does it. I also make sure that when I have him out, I give him a snack. This usually keeps him occupied. The other thing, is that i make sure to have a my legs covererd, and at times, my arms (depending if they are flaring) so that he does not have access. Just about any mammal you get, may also do the same thing, so changing to a different species of animal, probably won't solve the problem Ron
