Just for those of us that don't have children and have no experience with baby food jars. Check to make sure none of the glass is broken when opening after buying from a store. Stockers drop these all the time and if there is not evidence that it is unsellable then they put it on the shelves. Same goes when dropping them at home by accident. Check the rim for sure, there could be glass in the food and when in doubt throw the food out. Just thought this might help.
