MOST dorms do not allow any pets. Some allow fish but that's it. If you want to take your gliders to college with you, you will have to get an appartment. Do not try to sneak your glider in, I'd hate for you to get in trouble...

It is my opinion that there are several reasons gliders should not be in dorm rooms ... aside from the fact that most colleges will not allow them. Gliders tend to bond with "one" human ... they are very affected by different sights, sounds and smells. They are also extremely prone to stress and stressful situations. Now, having lived in a dorm room back in the dark ages, lol, and having a son living in one now ... this is definitely not the situation I would want to thrust a glider into. The activity level in a dorm could be enough to cause extreme stress, not to mention the multitude of people wanting to wake them up to see them and try to play with them. Gliders are also nocturnal ... yes, I realize most college students are too ... but many of the late hours kept by students are spent quietly studying ... or should be anyway ... right moms. The bottom line for me is ... no gliders in dorms. How about a nice beta fish

Dont forget that gliders need a large cage..and dorm rooms are usually really small. Gliders also make lots of noise all night...so you would have a hard time sleeping...your roomate probably wouldnt like that much.
