I'm lazy and I don't sew sooo I take the easy way out. I go to Target - the luggage department - and get the cotton security pouches (the kind meant to carry cash while traveling). They come with a cord that goes around your neck - the best kind- or with a loop that can go on a cord, necklace, or belt loop. Be aware, however, that all of my gliders are smart enough to unzip the pouch. Others have animals that stay in a velcroed pouch---way, way too easy for my gliders. The main thing is that you keep them on your person so that they get used to you and your scent. (Always give them a treat while in the pouch - this associates you with something they like.).....basic learning theory from the psychologist.

If I do make one, what should i make it out of? So they can breathe.

I made a crude first pouch out of an old shirt that I wore (for my smell). I cut in into a big square, doubled it over twice (4 thicknesses) and backstitched then whipstitched it together on the two sides it was open (leaving the top open of course). I then took a strip of the same material and tacked it on for a strap to go around my neck and voila! They loved it. Turned out to be too deep, but live and learn. My second pouch which they also really like for the winter is a small fleece one I bought at the petstore and again I just sewed a strip of material to it to go around my neck. These two pouches are very basic and purely only for bonding and all I need because I never take my gliders out of my house in pouch. Hope this is useful info. The point is, it doesn't have to be fancy!
