ok my breeding female, has not had any joeys in several months maybe even a year. she has began to make weird hissing or sneezing sounds at her mate when they are out moving around at night, but when they are in the box sleeping its all fine. i would think it was somekind of breathing problem of hers if it wasnt for the only time she does it is when she is awake next to him. is it a serious problem or is it just a marital fight they will be over in a few days. should i be worried or seperate them? -katie

I also posted the same question about 2 months ago. Even though my pair haven't mated yet, a few days after I put them together they started that wierd hissing/sneezing noise. I never heard it when they were seperate. Someone wrote back to me and said not to worry about it, it was normal. I also went to the site with all the sg noises they make and I did not find one that matched that strange noise.

sounds like a mating sound, mine do this ALL the time. I have had them for about 5 months together, I had my female for 5 months before that, and never heard this until they started mating, i have also heard from other glider owners that this is a mating sound. Not to worry! i hear it almost every night!
