My 9 1/2 month old sugar glider just had a baby. It is five days oop. It seems to always be attached to the nipple. The female always has it either in her pouch or on her stomach. I am just wondering when will she start letting the male do a little bit of the work. When we she trust him to babysit while she just goes out and plays? It just seems like with her doing all the work she will get really stressed. This is her first baby and I am just worried in general about how she will handle it.

Nothing to worry about...This is perfectly normal: Papa will help out ind due time. With my last set of joeys, I had mama, papa, and big brother cleaning the joeys - so much so that they developed little bald spots on their heads....I was afraid the hair wouldn't grow back, but it did - you can't tell it was ever missing. Congratulations.
