Hey thanks everyone for posting advice and stuff, I told my parents that maybe I'm not ready for one yet, so I can have some time to research and think about it, thanks again

That sounds like a very mature decision to me. I personally don't think you can ever do "too much" research where gliders are concerned. I bought my first glider on an impulse and didn't have access to a computer so everything I learned in the beginning was very difficult. Fortunately, I had a very positive experience with my first glider as far as bonding/diet however had I known how very dangerous it is to let them sleep with you at night, I would still have my Charlie. Just keep searching the boards and learn as much as you possibly can ... even then should you decide to get a glider, you will find there is something new to learn each and every day

I am really happy that you are taking the time to do your research FIRST. That is very wise of you! Having done your reasearch, it you do decide on a glider you'll at least know what is involved beforehand, and that is a very good thing. I wish you the best with your decision.

Chris- I take my hats off to you. You have made a decision that many ADULTS aren't even mature enough to make. If/when you decide to get a sugar glider, I know you will make an excellent owner. Please come back when you're ready. I know folks here could help you find some good breeders in your area. Wishin' you the best! -Jasmine
