I have a male glider that's about 15 weeks old. And I was thinking of getting another one this Christmas. But my friend told me that if they haven't bond with you long enough and you introduce a new glider, they stop bonding. Is this true and should I get another glider since Christmas is the perfect excuse. Thanx

i have not found this to be true, infact in my case the glider that i got 2nd actually is closer to me than the first one. I think that if you continue to spend time with your gliders then you can be bonded to them both. I carry both of my gliders around with me in an x-tra big pouch so that they both get equal time and nither of them get left alone. I would say go for it...just be careful in introducing them and remember not all gliders will get a long at first so make sure that you have somewhere elso to put the new glider while they are getting used to each other (they wont definitally fight..but it is better to be prepared or not) hope this helps

check out pawprintonline.com/frames.html then go to Critter Central. There is some good information on choosing a second glider (age, gender, size).
