Being left with a sitter for two weeks would be stressful for the glider HOWEVER being taken to Spain for two weeks would probably be tragic. I doubt that they would even let you actually carry the glider with you within the country. Generally, the laws governing import/export of exotic animals is very strict. She would probably end up in quarantine the entire time with people who know little or nothing about gliders. My first thought when I read this post was why would you even consider taking your glider? Surely there are friends or family who would be willing to feed her. Even if there was no out of the cage playtime for two weeks, the stress would be much less than trying to take this glider with you. I would seriously reconsider even trying such a trip with your glider.
