I have another question about the little joey my sugar gliders just had. He is 7 days oop. For the first 4 days I could never hold him because he was always attached to the nipple. Now everytime I look in to check on them, the joey is never attached. Is this something to be concerned with???

Nothing is wrong, Christy. Just give your glider some time. Eventually, the joey will let go. (I do take and handle my joeys first day OOP, but my moms are very bonded and used tome doing this. I have a very nervous new mom Lady and I have left her alone for now, but that's just because she seems happier that way. You must use some common sense...If mom seems OK with you handling the joey, then go for it; otherwise just be patient for a little while longer. Hold mom and just pet/stroke the joey so it will get used to your scent - or take mom and joey with you in a pouch tucked into your shirt. Good luck!
