I have a five month old female glider who has a nipping habit. I play with her all the time and take her all over the place with me. She is pretty obedient except for the nipping problem. I don't think she is doing it to be mean. I know that they nip if you handle them roughly but she will nip my finger tips if she is just sitting in my flat palm. She has never broken the skin and it really doesn't hurt but it is annoying. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why she might be doing this and maybe give me some hints to help stop or atleast reduce the tooth/skin action?

sounds like something that she may grow out of. I wouldn't try scolding her since she might interpret that the wrong way and bite even more. I had this problem with my glider and just ignored it. After a while he stopped doing it. Hope I could help.

I have had several of them do this, we called it love nips...hehe I started saying NO very stearnly then blowing on the glider, they hate that and it doesn't take long usually for them to get the idea and stop doing that.
