I'm wondering if this is a normal occurance.. ..it seems as though when "Rocky" is frightened or seemingly "unsure" of himself or his surroundings he will become "rigid" for about 30 - 60 seconds... is this something I should be concerned about..? (has happened maybe 6 times in the last year). Robert

I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but it sounds normal if it is what I'm thinking. My gliders will sometimes freeze like a statue for awhile if something is going on that frightens them or they are unsure of. They are just focusing all of their senses and trying to determine what is going on. They might freeze in hopes of not being spotted if they think they are in danger from something stalking them; its a natural defense. If your glider becomes rigid like its become paralysed or something, I would take it to the vet for a check up.

Winky trembles when she is disturbed. If your baby is that scared, you need to change something in his surrounding! Maybe a dog or cat or anything that may be threatning him. You should do everything possible for your baby to feel secure, otherwise he could end up getting stressed out and eventually die. Please take this matter seriously. Find out why and when he behaves this way.
