i have a juvinile male glider, about 8-10ish weeks oop. i noticed tonight that he seems to be getting a bald spot on his nose area, right in between his nose. i know that males get a gland on his forehead area, and i think i can see it comming in, slowly, so the spot i am worrying over is not it. what should i do? could this be a fungus of some sort? do you think it could be contagious? i am getting him a mate in four days. if possible, i want to try and take them to the vet together, so the new one can get a checkup too. how serious is this? i am still new at this, this would be the first problem i have had with him. please help, i am a worrying mom. (people say i am very overprotective).

Sounds like cage nose. How far apart are the bars or wires on your cage, he may be sticking his nose through it, this will cause hair lose around the nose.
