I have read that it is possible for gliders to have 4 babys at a time, but that it is most comman to have one or two. I was wondering has anyone ever seen or had three or four babys come oop at the same time? trips or quads? just interested to know.......

One of my trios produced a female about one and years ago. This daughter and her mate produced triplets late this summer. All three babies were the same size when they came oop. I saw all three of the little boys when they were three and half months oop. and they were small for their age but all were the same size. When the triplets come oop. usually one will be a lot smaller which puts the wee one to a disadvantage for nursing. Triplets are rare. Even rarer for all three to survive. Quads almost nill. Normal liter is one and possibly two.

I have never heard of anyone having quads. Although it would be possible technically, the strain on mom would be overwhelming....I have moms that don't even like twins, preferring to have a single. I have heard of one or two people haveing triplets, but it is very rare - even for breeders. One or two is most common; and that's about right for the moms.
