Is it wrong to change a sugarglider's name after about a year? The thing is, his name is close to my name and it gets annoying... Like, we have the same nickname... I don't think it matters cause I never really called him by his name. I've just made a little noise, like how you call a cat.

I don't think it is wrong to change their name, esspecially if you don't call them it. I wanted to change my little girl's name, but when I got her she already answered to it...so I left it. Many people don't name their glider right away because once you get to know their personality, is when you realize a perfect name.

My nicknames for my animals become so off the wall they may as well have name changes.....For example: Adam, firstborn male of Lena and Rudy became Adamski, became Skibo, became Skibonski...and he gets called all of the names - think he's one confused glider??? (Sometimes he's just Bonski too.)
