Say my sugarglider doesn't like a certain part in her BML(like fruits, veggies, or the crickets/mealworms), would it be a good idea if I chopped them up and coated them in the Leadbeater mix? Sort of mix them all together. Is that bad?

Not a problem, sometimes I mix in the veggies or fruit just for variety, if its the same all the time every night my guys get bored, so I vary the way I feed it.
Are you having a problem with mealies or crickets? If your glider is young this is pretty common, the fruits and veggies too, my guys are adults and they are still pretty fickle, a favorite food tonight can well turn into an ignored one tomorrow smile such is life with a glider wink
I havent heard of anyone adding the mealies to leadbeaters, but that doesnt mean none have, If you where going to tho I wouldnt think it a good idea to add them to a whole batch, just tonights tonight and tomorrws tomorrow ect. usually if you can get them to lick the icky inside stuff out of a mealy cut in half you wont have to worry bout them liking it anymore, but gliders is like peoples in that they all have their own tastes...
Anyway just tryin to help, you should also listen to other opinions as well...

No, she's about one year old. She loves the BML mix, but I think that fills her up so much she doesn't eat any fruit or veggies. She always manages to eat the crickets(no mealies, doesn't like them much) and the mix. Why not just coat everything in it? Who knows...

Try it! Can't hurt, and they'd be getting their veggies etc and you will be a happy mommy. smile

It didn't work... What a rip... It would be okay if I gave her fruits during the day, and then the rest at night, right? I believe so... I think I'm gonna blend some veggies into her tablespoon of BML each night so she has no choice but to eat it, she'd probably like it also. Thanks everyone!

you can check out the BML page as it has been updated, I have several ways on there that I feed mine.. as a general rule mine get the mealies in the morn, and hand fed their veggies and fruits as finger treats during the day, come time for dinner they are ready to eat the BML.. this is only one way, as others have said there are different ways to stay with the BML plan and still offer it different ways..

Another bug you must stay away from is praying mantis or walking stick. My brohter found this out the hard way. After feeding his "Preacher Boy" a nice chewy walking stick the poor glider started having seizures! He was terribly ill for a couple of months and then he died. The vet could offer no relief for the seizures.
I have also noticed that on occasion my gliders will just not eat at all. I do not know if it is related to the moon or what. But my mom has noticed the same thing.
Good Luck

Another thing to try is coating the fruits/veggies with a little bit of yogurt or another treat. This encourged my glider (Kika)to eat a lot more veggies and fruits.
