I have two gliders one male one female and i've noticed that sydney (our female) has been biting Rocky's genital. He seems to be in a lot of pain when she does this and he pushes her away crabbing and starts licking himself. I've separated them because I'm worried she'll hurt him but I was wondering if this is normal behavior while mating or is she mutilating him? He isn't bleeding and he still wants to be near her but until we know we'd like to play it safe. Has anyone else ever experienced this with their gliders?

i dont think this is normal. since you said that you have seperated the two im not sure if this is an option but i think you should get the male a new friend because he wants to be near her and he cant so..... get him a friend
